Description
The new DSPRO StageGrid 1000 is a compact, SoundGrid-based audio interface component intended for seamless integration with eMotion LV1 live mixing systems. Use this versatile unit close to your mixing console to add more I/O at FOH or monitors, within touring stage racks to provide convenient I/O for performers or to distribute additional I/O around an existing SoundGrid-based studio facility.
This rugged, single-unit rack delivers eight digitally-controlled mic/line inputs, four balanced analogue outputs, AES/EBU stereo I/O with no-compromise sound quality and rock-solid reliability. It features the same audio interface engine found in the larger DSPRO StageGrid 4000, making it perfect for demanding live mixing environments.
It interfaces with the modular SoundGrid audio networking ecosystem and thus will seamlessly integrate with SoundGrid hosts, DSP servers and compatible I/O components with ease. Just connect it into your SoundGrid dedicated network switch via a simple ethernet connection, and it will immediately appear available for patching within your host without any further configuration.
SoundGrid is the rock-solid, scalable audio distribution infrastructure by Waves, capable of streaming multichannel audio at sample rates up to 96kHz with ultra-low latency whilst leveraging the entire catalogue of Waves Plug-ins in a live production context.
EXAMPLE SETUP
In this setup diagram, on-stage instruments/microphones/headphones connect directly to the StageGrid 4000 and StageGrid 1000 units (with full remote control of all settings from the LV1 mixer located at FOH). An additional StageGrid 1000 is connected at FOH to provide the engineer with headphone outputs and talkback microphone inputs. Incoming audio is processed on a SoundGrid Server and then outputted to the stage-monitors, performer’s headphones, PA system, and FOH headphones.
