The TONEX Plug: a full practice rig that plugs into your guitar

The TONEX Plug connects directly to your guitar or bass output through a swivelling 1/4″ jack and sends real amp tones to any headphones via its 1/8″ stereo output. It uses IK’s AI Machine Modeling, the same technology behind the TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE, to recreate the response of real amps, cabinets and pedals. Weighing about 70 g, it holds 30 presets you can step through with the onboard buttons, plus a noise gate, compressor, EQ, reverbs, delays, modulation effects and a built-in tuner.

Pair it over Bluetooth with the free TONEX Control app for iOS or Android to browse and load Tone Models from the ToneNET community library, edit settings and organise presets. Bluetooth also streams music from your phone into the Plug for jamming along. Over USB-C it charges the rechargeable battery and works as an audio interface for recording to a computer or mobile device.

The pouch: protection that goes where you go

The TONEX Plug Pouch is a black hard-shell case shaped around the Plug. Inside, an elastic strap holds the Plug in the soft-lined base, and a zippered mesh pocket in the lid keeps the USB-C cable and a few picks separate.
